Things I use

for art

CSP is my primary art program. I like to use it for digital painting and animation!

I mostly only use DaVinci to shitpost. Chromakeying and masking is pretty easy. A previous uni lecturer I had mentioned that the color tab is super good. I enjoy that it doesn't crash like premier pro.

If I was ever going to use an adobe product again it would've likely been Illustrator. Fortunately Designer has curbed that desire. I might have to try publisher next time it goes on sale now too... I kinda miss using InDesign.

I enjoy doing line art in procreate a lot it feels more convenient than doing it in CSP. Admittedly though I do prefer painting in CSP I find it blends easier. I love the default gradient maps and also the halftone tool!

I wanted to do some animation on my ipad and this does a pretty good job. It's pretty straightforward but still has layers - and you can colour! So good! Though the brush tool isn't as nice as procreate, when I hold to try and make a nice circle it turns into an unwanted oval...

for streaming

Essential for streaming. Don't get Streamlabs OBS, get this version!!

Not essential but it increases quality of life (sound).

I use this to set my stream on fire in exchange for channel points.

For moderation and silly python script purposes.

It lets you see who's most recently subbed, followed, or donated bits on your stream.

It's a timer and it works, what more could you want?

I use this to show my PNGtuber on the stream. Fellow PNG users could also try Landitube if they want to be extra fancy (I've heard good things).

digital brushes

A collection of brushes I enjoy using.

clip studio paint

My favourite digital painting brushes for CSP. Unfortunately it seems to not be available to purchase at the moment though.

If you like using alcohol markers but hate the smell, try this!

Good for CMYK halftone shenanigans!

Tools

Very fun to mess around with~

procreate

S-tier painting brushes, definitely worth buying!!

I've only tried the free pack but I have not been disappointed.

Distressed retro comic vibes

Traditional art supplies

I'll add more to this when I remember what exists in my inventory.

paper

brushes

My precious dual action airbrush.

They feel nice to hold and it's a screw connection so I don't worry about losing half my brush.

I love this brush, so versatile!

They feel kind of cheap for the price but they do a decent job.

pencil

If a pencil could feel juicy it would be this one!

Smooth coloured pencils~

Pens

Great for line variation with line art!

Amazing for line variation with line art! But it's a bit harder to use than the previous pen. I does have replacable cartridges though, which is definitely a perk!

Dip pen nibs

Coming soon - I have to sort through them all

Fountain Pens

Fun fact! If your fountain pen is cartridge only and you don't have a converter you can just refill the cartridge with a syringe (of the needle variety).
Just make sure to give it a good rinse first!

Fountain Pen Ink

I have too many of these to type out each individual ink name so I'll just say my favourites by brand. (even though I love all of them)

Shoebill Stork Grey

A Scorpii

Song of Scarlet

Rouge Hématite

Honey

Beryl

Citrus Ice is the only one I have so it's the fav by default.

Neon Rot

Drăculea

Sydney Darling Harbour

Regulus

Souvenir de Mauve

Wicked Witch

alcohol markers

These are sorted by $$$ to $ and stinkiness

A friend generously gave me some. Great markers but expensive (if not in Japan). Definitely good quality though!

I actually still own some of the Letraset promarkers (Before it was aqcuired by W&N). They still work fine, though admittedly I don't use them very often..

My first alcohol markers. Fond memories.

I got these on sale at a dollar store. They're okay for messing around with.

I got these on sale at a dollar store also.

other markers

paint

I really like the granulation in these paints! I initially got them for travelling because I wanted something I could colour with that fit in a small bag. Great choice past me! Before these paints I was kinda ehh about watercolour. Who knew all I needed was something good quality?

This is nice and can go in my airbrush if you add airbrush medium to it.

Sculpture

This stuff is great! If you like sculpture or casting things you'll probably like this! It's versatile and reusable. So good!

I haven't used this much but I'd like to try make more things with it.

misc

Really good for travel watercolour! Can fit in your pocket (If not wearing womens jeans).
